Founder of an independent consulting business focused on UX/UI design and research, website development, app creation and brand development for public, private and non-profit companies in various industries such as advertising, education and consumer products. Clients include Harmon Brothers Advertising Agency, BrighamYoungUniversity(BYU), Inflo, Unplugged, Corrective Skincare and Vivian's Live Again.
  • Harmon Brothers Advertising Agency for BYU: The Harmon Brothers Agency is a $15.3M annual revenue advertising firm best known for the creative advertising and brand management of key consumer products such as SquattyPotty,PurpleMattress, FiberFX, Chatbooks, Lume and more. I refined key objectives and goals based on customer needs and user feedback, analyzed site statistics to identify opportunities for improvement, created high fidelity designs for the BYU website, conducted card sort and survey to inform and prioritize site architecture and ensure that a cohesive design system was created for all of the sites under the BYU umbrella.
  • Inflo: Inflo is an early-stage, software company focused on converting pdf material into audio content. I created consistent information architecture between mobile app and desktop experiences, developed a foundational grid structure to maintain consistency across all of the different web app screens, drawers and modals and integrated their design library with Google material design reducing the development load for engineers.
  • Corrective Skincare: Corrective Skincare is a brand of skin care products that treat specific skin care conditions. I worked directly with the company's founder and product marketing teams to refine branding, launch a new website utilizing website analysis to improve and prioritize site architecture and high-fidelity design to further meet customer needs.
  • Unplugged: Unplugged is a developer of a smartphone and line of digital products focused on data privacy. In this role, I collaborated with product marketing team to refine website sales funnel and created print material which was included in smartphone packaging.
  • Corrective Skincare: Corrective Skincare is a brand of skin care products that treat specific skin care conditions. I worked directly with the company's founder and product marketing teams to refine branding, launch a new website utilizing website analysis to improve and prioritize site architecture and high-fidelity design to further meet customer needs.
  • Vivan's Live Again: A consumer product line of gluten-free and dairy-free food products. Projects include heuristic review of website, recommendations and guidance around best practices in web design with the goal of increasing site usability and greater sales generation.

  • Waltham, Massachusetts Public Library: Waltham Library is a community hub that offers a variety of services and resources. This project entailed working with a team of designers to conduct a research study to improve a library website. The methodologies used included a card sort and interviews.
  • Bullpen: Bullpen is a full-stack commercial real estate staffing and recruiting company founded in 2019. I developed components for a design library, optimized profile information modals and the search page.
  • Koch Industries-Flint Hills Resource: Koch Industries is a $125 billon dollar corporation with 12 divisions under the parent company. I conducted a heuristic review of an existing app that mapped out the machinery units within an oil processing plant. The review focused on accessibility, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance and improved usability. I also preformed expert review identifying usability issues with a new app which helped users navigate oil processing plants.

  • Koch Industries/Flint Hills Resources: I created UI/UX mockups for a web app, including creating user personas, app specifications, rough wire frames and UI. Additionally, I worked with the digital management team to create an app to reduce turnaround time for cleaning and maintenance at the Flint Hills Resources refineries. This project included interviews, application personas, a site map, low and high-fidelity wireframes, user testing and delivery of project to the development team.
  • InstyMeds: InstyMeds’ mission is to help patients feel better faster by providing immediate access to medications. InstyMeds is a fully-automated ATM-style dispenser of prescriptions that delivers medication directly to the patients at the point of care. I worked to create brand guidelines that modernized the brand appearance, executed changes tothe website to highlight product value, address common medical provider questions and showcase product value.
  • Southland Organics: Southland Organics is a leading provider of natural solutions for poultry, turf and crop growers, as well as wilderness managers. The company provides safe and effective alternatives to harsh chemicals, as well as antibiotics used in food sources and in the environment. I utilized the storyboard method to create pages that highlighted product value to customers.
  • Jump the Moon: Jump the Moon is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping individuals with disabilities to express their creativity through art. I worked with the founder to create branding and marketing material including a brochure, logo, business cards, and potential product designs.
  • Draw With Leo, LLC: Draw with Leo was an early-stage startup company which created an app that taught children how to draw. I worked with the founder to define the product vision, created low and high -fidelity web app designs for an interface, create branding material.
  • Shindig: Shindig is an online platform to host large scale virtual events. I created welcome pages for their app in both light and dark mode and high-fidelity mockups for their app design to convert it from light mode to dark mode.
  • Book of Mormon Central: The company focuses on religious and scholarly content by providing a digital platform for people to access videos, articles and other information centered around historical and biblical research. I created high -fidelity designs that would allow a user to easily search through and find the content they were interested in.
  • Pre Employ: Founded in 1994, the company specializes in hassle-free background checks. I redesigned of a single website page with a quick turnaround. I optimized the page to align with their conversion funnel and improve scanability of site content.
  • Etsy Listings: I worked directly with an Airbnb owner to create pdf templates that showcases city travel destinations for various Airbnb locations.
  • Flow: Flow is a company that sells software and robotic hardware equipment which specializes in water jet cutting technology. I worked closely with product management to create visual interface elements such as icons, tool drawers and cursor change states to simplify and update existing software that controls robotic water jet cutting machines. I improved documentation and UI.
